The room with a queen bed. The location was good for traveling around High Springs, short walk to Ichetucknee Springs State Park, diving in the Santa Fe River, and other attractions.

The room was spotless with free wi-fi, heating, salad shops to near-upscale fare at The Great Outdoors, friendly service. Particularly good and unbeatable location in the comfortable area, really close to Busch gardens as well as High Springs for the $ $.

Appreciated the room with a queen bed, my bed was exceptionally comfortable. Also, location was unbeatable, not too far away from Sante fe Canoe Outpost. Btw, went to city center, located not too far from the hotel.

A really really nice stay on vacation. Fairly clean place to stay with super-friendly staff. Excellent location in the sleeping quarters. Also - next to restaurants, groceries stores, like Winn Dixie, Dollar General, and great food wicked dive shop and especially the caves. Updated and neat room available with microwaves, nice chairs and salad shops to near-upscale fare at The Great Outdoors.

really enjoyed impeccably clean and huge queen room with refrigerator and microwave, wouldn't mind staying there all day. i could use a flat-screen tv with cable channels, climate control and a microwave oven. the staff were amazingly nice and outstandingly accommodating day and night.

The bathroom was tiny, I didn't like it.

Had excellent stay on a real road trip. The room was immaculately clean and huge with a queen bed, with essentials required. The location was great and comfortable as for me, just off the Santa Fe river one day and downtown and the local springs and Surrounding Area.

Favourable and perfect location to stores & shops, and 10 minute walk from Sante fe Canoe Outpost. And really close to the attractions in the High Springs area and the Garden of Good an Evil. Totally really really nice stay on vacation.

We stayed at the Country Inn for a wedding at the nearby O'Leno State Park. The location was perfect and the price was reasonable for the accommodations. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and there was minimal traffic noise. We enjoyed the convenience of having a diner just across the street. The motel had a unique old-fashioned charm and was well-maintained. The rooms were clean and everything worked properly. The bathroom tiles were lovely and we appreciated the environmentally friendly choice of non-white towels. We also liked being able to open the screened windows instead of using the air conditioner, making our stay quieter and more energy-efficient.

    We do recommend this hotel.

    Roach Infested Nightmare.

In general: High Springs Country Inn was a nasty, disgusting, unsafe, ROACH MOTEL . LIVE ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I always thought this was just something folks said when someplace was dirty. Guess what it's a real place and it's located in High Springs Florida and it's called High Springs Country Inn. Now it's known to my mom and i as the "HIGH SPRINGS ROACH MOTEL" At least that's how my sweet mom and I will always remember it as. DO NOT STAY AT THE HIGH SPRINGS COUNTRY INN. Unless you want to wake up with lots of cockroaches crawling all of you. Oh my goodness. This place is disgusting Cockroaches Cockroaches Cockroaches everywhere you look COCKROACHES they were under the pillows, on the pillows, in between the sheets, on the night stand just everywhere!!! My mom found they were all just Pouring out of the shower drain day and night. She told the front desk and they told her well this is Florida. They would not move he to another room. Well I have lived in Florida for over thirty years and I don't have cockroaches in my home. She even placed a trash can over the shower drain but it did not help. Then there was the matter of getting trapped in the first rooms bathroom because the door handle was not working correctly so they moved her from #5 to #6 and that bathroom door would not close all the way. WHAT A NIGHT MARE!!! Stay away!!! I can't imagine if I would have dropped her off and my mom getting trapped in that bathroom not being able to call for help. I'm calling the health department to report them as well the the High Springs department of health and safety. This place was not a safe place for my mom. The entire staff seemed to have an attitude of well this is not the Ritz. My mom nor I expected the Ritz but I can tell you that with the extreme hazzard of getting trapped in the first bathroom and not getting out without assistance and the nasty bacteria carrying roaches we will never stay there again. Please for the sake of your health and safety find another place. My poor mom had to wake up with COCKROACHES crawling on her and her bedding. When I picked her up she shared these pictures with me. They told me the owner name is Mr.Patel and he was out of town until April 2019. Maybe that's part of the problem. They need to close this place down and put a tent over it to fumigate it until every last roach is dead. Oh yea and fix the bathroom doors so it's safe. DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS THAT SAY IT'S A CLEAN PLACE. It's sad because if they just did a real hard cleaning and got rid of the roaches it would be a cute little place to stay. The below is the reply that I got back from someone at the COCKROACH INVESTED High Springs Country Inn. It's a real joke how they try to explain why they have such a terrible ROACH INVESTIGATION. "Hi, I am sorry about your bad experience at the High Springs Country Inn. Our employees try their best when a manager is not able to be there. We unfortunately get roaches from people leaving the doors open. However we do spray for bugs every week. I am sorry there was a roach in your bed. The doors to the bathrooms are being fixed. We have never had a complaint from a guest about the bathroom doors thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our employees have also told us of these issues and we are taking care of everything. Thank you very much for letting us know of your not so great stay. We hope you have a great day and No one has reached out to my mom, their guest to apologize to her for having a room that was so unsafe and totally invested with nasty Cockroaches. It's been several days and still no contacted her. This shows once again just how little they care as well as their lack of appreciation they have towards their guest. My Reply ..... "Someone needs to brush up on there bugs!!! These COCKROACHES do not come in to the motel, car, home or any where else by guest leaving the doors open. These roaches are the type that gather in moisture, sewer type and filthy environments. They gather in nasty places generally when your not cleaning . As I mentioned in every post from Yelp to others that my dear mother of 82 years had to try and stop the flow of these nasty Cockroaches from coming up out of your shower drains and when I say COCKROACHES That's Plural like as in more than one.. First and foremost when my mother asked to be moved to another bug free room she should have been moved right then and there. There were several rooms available but your staff once again failed to take care of your guest. Second and most important the safety and well-being of your guest and in this case an 82 woman being placed at risk by your staffs failure to insure that your rooms are safe. If she would have gotten trapped in that #6 bathroom it could have been a fatal oversight on your hotels staff. She has a heart condition that is not an issue but could have very well turned into a very big problem under that condition." RUN AWAY!!! br/ b Location and surroundings: /b Good location but terrible upkeep. Room was Nasty, Disgusting and overrun with insects including LIVE ROACHES AND SPIDERS. Service:This place was so disgusting no one should ever stay there no matter the price. Dining:The onlything that was ding were all of the nasty roaches that covered the small refrigerator and the food that we brought. We had to throw it all out. I’m sure there are other places to stay in the area tat are not roach friendly. Sports and leisure: The roaches were I’m sure having lots of fun crawling all over my mother while she slept. They were definitely crawling all over the bedding including in between the sheets and on the pillows. Room: The most disgusting filthy roach infested motel I’ve ever seen. We understand having a bug here and there but this was ROACHES EVERYWHERE. Plus the rooms were filthy and unkept. Useful tips: RUN AWAY LOOK FOR OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS A TIP FOR THE OWNER WOULD BE TEAR IT DOWN OR COVER IT UP WITH A TENT AND HAVE IT FUMIGATED!!!
